“We are very excited to have Steve Walker join the SimpliGov organization,” Troy Bare, vice president of sales for SimpliGov, told Industry Insider — California. “Steve and I have worked successfully together in the past, so I look forward to having his technical expertise on our team.”

SimpliGov provides cloud-based software-as-a-service solutions to local, state and federal governments, as it integrates with internal systems, including e-sign, single sign-on, enterprise resource planning and document management solutions.

“I’m excited to share that I have joined SimpliGov,” Walker told Industry Insider. “I am fortunate to find myself amongst a like-minded group of people who are passionate about improving the ability of state and local government programs to deliver digital services. The SimpliGov Platform affords me the opportunity to leverage my experience delivering digital forms, workflow automation, and electronic signature solutions and help government organizations realize value with the adoption of a future-ready cloud solution.

“As an information technologist, I’m really excited that I can honestly say that a low-code/no-code solution for government is real, SimpliGov has it, and it is my goal to bring that realization to customers across the United States,” Walker said.

Before his affiliation with Adobe, Walker held various roles with DocuSign and SailPoint, among others. He received his business administration degree from Durham College of Applied Arts and Technology, and his bachelor’s degree in management information systems from Lakehead University.
