AHCA Recruiting for Data Coordination Lead for FX Project

The Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) is looking to hire a data coordination lead to join its data management office to support a major IT project.

More specifically, the job posting states the “position serves as the data coordination lead in the Data Management Office, in the Office of Florida Health Care Connections (FX),” reporting directly to AHCA’s data management administrator.

“FX is tasked with the modernization of the AHCA MES (Medicaid Enterprise Systems), driving a transformation of people, business processes and technology,” the job posting states. “This position and its unit are instrumental in coordinating and aligning business and technology in this transformation.”

Specific job duties include:

• Leading efforts to coordinate data systems across the enterprise, ensuring smooth data flow and integration between platforms and agencies      
• Managing data-related projects, setting timelines, overseeing resources and ensuring successful project delivery 
• Serving as a liaison between IT, data scientists and functional business units 
• Monitoring data quality and integrity and ensuring adherence to governance policies 
• Contributing to AHCA’s overall data management unit and FX program strategy through the performance and completion of other duties and special projects   

Minimum qualifications for the role include having two years of professional experience in data systems integration and architecture.
