Additional job functions and responsibilities include:
- Managing a diverse administrative and operational team responsible for technology procurement, IT department budget, project management, innovation and infrastructure support
- Leading the organization in innovation and implementation of technology-based improvements and advising on technology opportunities and strategies
- Advising departments on technology business strategies to improve productivity and expansion of services
- Approving requests and purchase orders for departmental supplies, technology hardware and software, capital items, services, maintenance agreements and other similar expenditures
- Remaining responsive to the evolving nature of technology
The candidate must have five years of “progressively responsible administrative experience” and three years of supervisory experience in information services management, systems design, data management, software applications development, support network design and management, project management, or any equivalent combination of related training and experience.
