Broward County Recruiting for Senior Systems Network Analyst

The Broward County Board of County Commissioners is looking to hire a senior systems network analyst.

To qualify for the position, the candidate must be comfortable working with cloud technologies and have four years of experience supporting Active Directory-related tasks, virtual machines in a VMware ESX environment and server technologies.

Specific job duties include:
  • Providing technical support for resources hosted in the county’s cloud environments, adhering to best practices for cloud security configuration and management and implementing the latest cloud technologies  
  • Working with a team to identify and remediate security vulnerabilities within the county’s server infrastructure 
  • Planning and implementing upgrades to the county’s virtual infrastructure, including servers, storage and networking 
  • Processing and supporting new dynamic host configuration protocol reservation requests  
  • Installing, configuring and supporting server software for virtual and backup environments 

Minimum education requirements include a two-year degree from an accredited trade, technical or vocational school; college; or university in computer science or another related field.
