Now, as assistant IT director, Abraham will focus on planning, implementing and maintaining all citywide IT-related infrastructure and services, leading the city’s IT operations team, managing vendors’ performance, ensuring cybersecurity and disaster recovery readiness, and supporting technology needs across all departments, according to his LinkedIn page.
Prior to working with the city, Abraham held various public-sector roles, including serving as a senior financial analyst for the British Virgin Islands Financial Investigation Agency and as IT security and network administrator for the British Virgin Islands Health Services Authority.
Before that, he was an IT project coordinator lead for the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
Abraham holds an Associate of Arts degree in computer and information sciences and support services from Tallahassee State College, a Bachelor of Science degree in computer criminology from Florida State University and a Master of Science degree in IT management from Western Governors University.
