City of North Miami Beach Recruiting Senior Systems Analyst

The city of North Miami Beach is recruiting for a senior systems analyst to oversee IT infrastructure, enhance automation and ensure system security and reliability.

According to the job posting, “the position will be responsible for managing and maintaining the virtual environment, servers, clients, storage, enterprise applications and other citywide IT infrastructure.”

Additional job functions and responsibilities include:

• Acting as a liaison between management and IT, advising on hardware/software implementation, planning and development
• Assisting in setting IT policies and standards
• Leading system design, gathering requirements and creating documentation
• Supporting the CIO in system planning, development and delivery
• Managing citywide applications, servers, backups and software

Minimum requirements include a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field and five years of experience in computer systems or support. Public Technology Manager certification is preferred.
