In a forward-looking move, the Department of Financial Services (DFS) has initiated a request for information (RFI) to gain deeper insights into how AI can reshape the future of financial services. By seeking input and information from industry experts, innovators and stakeholders, DFS aims to create a road map for harnessing AI’s capabilities to benefit consumers.

The information gathered through this RFI will likely shape the development of AI applications that prioritize consumers’ financial well-being. Some of the goals outlined in the request include:
  • Improve customer experience
  • Increase productivity
  • Continuous optimization
  • Proof of concept
The department is not interested in resellers or operators of the AI products. Questions can be directed to Amy Jones, purchasing director. Responses are due Nov. 16 at 4 p.m. via email: DFSPurchasing@myfloridacfo.com.
