The Florida Department of Management Services is seeking a systems administrator to oversee the TRIRIGA application development, supporting 12.6 million square feet of real estate in the Florida Facilities Pool.

According to the job posting, “the incumbent directs efforts to conduct statistical analysis of real estate data, employing various tools and techniques to assess trends, compare scenarios and provide actionable recommendations.” The department seeks candidates who have experience in application development and supporting custom or COTS applications.

As for essential duties, the job posting lists the following:
  • Overseeing the TRIRIGA Application Development and Support section, ensuring team efficiency and alignment with objectives
  • Setting goals, conducting performance evaluations and managing time and attendance for direct reports
  • Communicating effectively with staff to clarify tasks, provide updates and ensure excellent customer service
  • Promotes staff development by encouraging participation in seminars and training on industry trends and policy updates
  • Leads coordination with vendors and stakeholders to define requirements, implement system upgrades and develop training materials, ensuring high-quality solutions and customer service
Minimum requirements for the role include having a two-year degree with 15 semester hours in IT, data analytics, business or related fields. Relevant experience may substitute for education. In addition, three years in application development and two years in a supervisory role is required.
