Department of Revenue Hiring Computer Systems Operations Manager

The Florida Department of Revenue is seeking a computer operations manager to work in their Tallahassee office.

According to the job posting, the computer operations manager supervises two managers and a staff of 30, overseeing the federally mandated CAMS within the Child Support Program.

Duties and responsibilities include:
  • Supervise managers and team members, ensuring compliance with standards and effective work assignment management
  • Plan, organize and direct software projects, ensuring production requirements and project goals are met
  • Collaborate with business process owners to manage CAMS functionality projects, balancing business needs with system efficiency
  • Coordinate with other Enterprise System Support Process (ESSP) Government Operations Manager IIs to enhance the efficiency and productivity of ESSP resources
  • Promote and adhere to the Child Support Program’s business and strategic plans, and manage the support request and incident inventory

To qualify, you must be currently employed with the Florida Department of Revenue and have at least three years of supervisory experience. You should also have three years of experience managing software projects and using project management tools, as well as drafting reports and making recommendations. Additionally, you need three years of experience in planning and evaluating processes, addressing productivity and quality issues, and implementing improvements.
