The Department of Management Services (DMS) is prequalifying vendors for the Information Technology Staff Augmentation Services state term contract, which has three years remaining.

According to the invitation to bid, vendors must have experience in the computer science industry involving IT services, use of various technology components and experience in providing qualified IT staff for temporary workforce needs.

The state term contract is for hourly IT staff augmentation services. Staff will be provided based on the customer’s RFQ and job family descriptions. The department will make multiple awards to the lowest bidders who meet the prequalification requirements and restrictions for current vendors.

Annual supplemental bids will be issued. New vendors can apply; current vendors can bid only for new job titles.

General responsibilities include:
  • Handle all employment-related tasks
  • Ensure staff have the required skills and experience
  • Deliver services meeting Florida’s professional IT standards
  • Fund training to keep staff current with industry advancements and equipment

More information about ITB No. 23-80101507 can be found online. Vendors must submit bids by 2 p.m. on Sept. 4. A public meeting will be held at 2:01 p.m. Sept. 4.
