According to the request for proposals, the firm awarded the contract will be paid a flat fee and will be responsible for providing the city with software system solutions for asset and maintenance management.
Currently, there are no active contracts with any firm for these types of services.
In terms of requirements for the CAMS and CMMS, the RFP lists the following:
- The system must allow for graphical and tabular benchmarking of work activities by activity, asset, location and unit price versus actual time and cost.
- Summarizing data for various levels of supervision and management access is a must, along with providing daily statuses and the historical trends of work efforts at organizational, divisional, employee and asset levels.
- If an on-premises solution is provided, the city will have the right to make copies of the software for archival, backup, testing or training purposes.
- The city will provide the selected data structures for import from Excel or key-in.
- Lastly, the solution must be an off-the-shelf software that requires minimal customization and can easily integrate with existing systems.
