- The solution must offer enterprise-level licensing with the option for department or smaller-level subscriptions
- The chatbot must be available as software-as-a-service (SaaS) or a cloud-hosted solution
- The platform should be proven and ideally used at other higher education institutions
- The chatbot should provide 24/7 AI interaction capabilities
- It must serve as an initial gatekeeper with multichannel presence, routing customers based on a decision tree and allow customization of live chat hours according to department availability
