Florida Digital Service is looking to hire a technology solutions architect and oversight specialist.

One of the role's main responsibilities is reviewing designs and advising state agencies to ensure solutions are scalable, robust and securely aligned with Florida’s strategy and enterprise architecture.

Other responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders to understand business requirements, translating those requirements into technical specifications and ensuring the successful delivery of projects.

Specific job duties include:
  • Providing technical assessment and advisory to technology projects
  • Designing and developing technology solutions that meet business needs and align with the strategic objectives 
  • Working closely with business leaders, project managers, developers and other stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements 
  • Developing proofs of concept to validate technology solutions 
  • Developing and enforcing best practices for software development and system architecture 

Minimum job requirements include having at least five years of experience in technology architecture and solution design.
