Florida Gulf Coast University on March 5 issued an invitation to negotiate (ITN), seeking responses from content management system (CMS) vendors to redesign FGCU.edu, the university’s website.

Developed by Omni/Modern Campus, the website serves as its CMS provider and plays a crucial role as a marketing tool for the university. It hosts over 4,500 live pages constructed with a range of 30 modules.

Per ITN No. 24K-007,the proposal for redesign should encompass a recommendation from a CMS vendor, supported by an explanation for the platform choice. The current platforms being evaluated are Cascade, Terminalfour and Squiz. The goal is to complete the redesigned website no later than May 1, 2025.

The revamped website must be compatible with the following systems:
  • Slate
  • Canvas Catalog
  • HubSpot
  • Google Tag Manager
  • Ocelot (chatbox)

The deadline for respondent questions is 3 p.m. March 15, accessible through Bonfire. ITN responses are due at 3 p.m. March 26. The university has requested that respondents refrain from emailing the point of contact with inquiries directly.
