During the recent Central Florida Digital Government Summit, Brian Ross talked to Industry Insider — Florida about Haines City’s tech plans, including securing its operational technology network and keeping up with workforce and technology growth.

The chief information officer of Haines City, which is part of Polk County and home to approximately 33,629 residents, discussed securing the city’s operational technology network and keeping up with tech and workforce growth with Industry Insider — Florida during the recent Central Florida Digital Government Summit*.

Brian Ross has been Haines City’s CIO for nine years, officially taking on the role in December 2014. According to his LinkedIn profile, he has helped “build up a city-wide IT operation that provides top-notch customer service and helps the city’s departments implement and use technology to improve their operations and enhance services to the public” during his tenure.

Ross holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science and a master’s in business administration from the University of Central Florida.
