Leo Schoonover, the state chief technology officer for
Florida Digital Service, highlighted his wide range of experience in the tech sector with

Schoonover became the state CTO in 2022. According to his
LinkedIn profile, he is focused on “enhancing the state's digital resilience and cultivating strategic partnerships” while serving in the position.
He holds advanced degrees in cybersecurity management, information systems management and computer science, along with several certifications.
