Miami-Dade County to Host Fifth Annual Procurement Expo

The county will host its fifth annual procurement expo, offering vendors more information on contracting opportunities with various county departments, municipalities, colleges and nonprofit organizations.

Calling all vendors: The Office of Mayor Daniella Levine Cava and the Miami-Dade County Strategic Procurement Department are hosting the county’s fifth annual procurement expo at the Miami-Dade Main Library next week.

The event, which takes place at 10 a.m. Sept. 12 at 101 W. Flager St., Miami, will allow businesses and vendors to explore contracting opportunities with various county departments, municipalities, colleges and nonprofit organizations in Miami-Dade County.

Specific topics to be discussed during the expo include:

  • Learning how to become a vendor with the county 
  • Gaining insights on how to prepare competitive bids and proposals 
  • Obtaining information on how to join pre-qualification pools 
  • Discovering how to acquire certifications for small businesses 
  • Learning more about funding opportunities and how to access capital
