Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office Hiring for IT Specialist

To qualify, prospective candidates must have two years of experience in computer operations, systems analysis, or programming and a working knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio.

The Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office is looking to hire an information technology specialist to research, program, analyze and improve workflow processes while overseeing all statistical reporting dashboards and database maintenance.

Specific job responsibilities include:
  • Developing and designing business management applications 
  • Developing, designing and maintaining websites 
  • Developing and maintaining the office’s SQL Server 
  • Creating statistical reports and a business intelligence dashboard 
Also noted in the job posting are the following minimum requirements:
  • Two years of experience in computer operations, systems analysis or programming 
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio 
  • Working knowledge of business application development utilizing SQL databases 
  • An associate of science degree in computer technology 
Additional preferred skills include:
  • Proficiency in managing and maintaining a Microsoft SQL Server — 2012 or higher 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Power BI and SSRS 
  • Proficiency in developing web services, including SOAP and XML  
  • Experience researching, analyzing and identifying cost-effective automated solutions and software to improve organizational efficiencies  
  • Familiarity with any version of Microsoft Access or Visual Basic for Applications
