Oldsmar Issues RFP for Enterprise Asset Management Software

The city plans to purchase a hosted solution to enhance operational efficiency, simplify data cataloging and provide essential data for budget evaluation.

Oldsmar, located in Pinellas County, has issued an RFP seeking proposals from qualified vendors for GIS-centric enterprise asset management software that encompasses software, implementation services, training and technical support.

The RFP is issued for the Public Works Department, which is responsible for “overseeing a wide range of services related to public infrastructure and facilities,” according to their website.

The city plans to acquire a hosted solution to improve operational efficiency, streamline data cataloging and asset inventory, enhance asset lifespan management and deliver essential data and tools for budget evaluation.

It has potential for future expansion to other departments.

More information about RFP No. 2024-005-RFP-0-2024/JC can be found online. Proposals are due by 2 p.m. Oct. 15.
