Palm Beach County Seeks Centralized Insurance Tracking System

A few system requirements include storing more than 10,000 insurance certificates, accommodating various insurance profiles and allowing receipt and comparison of insurance proofs.

Palm Beach County's purchasing department has issued a request for submittals (RFS) for a centralized web-based insurance tracking system.

Ideally, the RFS states the system would be capable of storing 10,000-plus insurance certificates, be accessible 24 hours a day, maintain multiple insurance profiles and allow for storage of contracts and proof of insurance, all while providing straightforward viewing and user-friendly input and output options.

Currently, the county uses an insurance tracking system to ensure that all vendors that provide goods and services meet minimum insurance requirements set within their contracts.

However, the county seeks to switch to a new system starting Oct. 28. The chosen vendor will provide services for 12 months ending Oct. 27, 2026, with four 12-month renewal options.

More information about RFS No. 25-0029/LAC can be found online. The submission deadline is 4 p.m. on June 27. Lynn Clavette is the contact for this solicitation.
