Sarasota County Issues RFP for UPS Systems

Services include hardware monitoring, system updates software and hardware support.

Sarasota County is seeking proposals from vendors who can provide comprehensive services for uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems.

According to the RFP, “services include labor, materials, supervision, training, complete mechanical maintenance service, corrective and preventive maintenance, hardware monitoring, hardware and software maintenance, inspection, battery replacement and replacement of worn or defective parts.”

Other specifications include:
  • Provide semiannual preventative maintenance services
  • Coordinate repairs and installation of UPS systems
  • Collaborate with county staff, submit reports and ensure work is done under a county-issued purchase order
  • Follow safety protocols and provide employee documentation and identification
