Seminole County has issued a request for proposals (RFP) for a full-service, digital self-publication notice software solution.

According to the RFP, the software platform will manage the publication of public notices for the Seminole County Board of County Commissioners and streamline all processes related to legal compliance, centralized management and proof of publication.

In general, the solution must facilitate the drafting, formatting, editing, approval and payment of public notices and the generation of accompanying affidavits.

The solution must also display public notices on the county’s website and allow users to search and subscribe for notification citations.

Additional software capabilities include:
  • Providing public notice templates that the county can configure and change as necessary
  • Allowing local cities, elected offices and the county’s school board to manage and publish their own public notices
  • Managing the billing and payment processes for local cities, elected officials and the county’s school board through the software
  • Maintaining a registry of names, addresses and email addresses of property owners and residents who have requested in writing that they receive legally required advertisements and public notices from Seminole County by first-class mail or email
  • Providing users with the ability to report all data through an online reporting system that includes the feature to export data in an industry-standard format
More information about RFP-604906-24/MHH can be found online. All vendor questions must be submitted by 5 p.m. Dec. 30, and all proposals must be submitted by 2 p.m. Jan. 8.
