St. Lucie County Seeking Emergency Operations IT Consulting

The project, which will see emergency and 911 services separated from the county's network, aims to improve security, efficiency and operational effectiveness while meeting industry standards.

St. Lucie County has issued a request for qualifications (RFQ) from vendors for the segregation of the emergency operations center, emergency medical services and 911 network services from the county's network and infrastructure.

The county has proposed spending $1.8 million on the project in Fiscal Year 2024-2025.

According to the RFQ, the vendor must be able to provide the following:
  • Professional IT consulting services related to an emergency operations center 
  • Provide services for the separation of emergency operations center, as well as provide emergency medical services and 911 network services from the network

More detailed information about RFQ No. 24-078-0-2024/DC, including all minimum requirements and requested services, can be found online. The deadline for proposals is 3 p.m. July 24.
