State Courts System Seeks Due Process Technology Manager in Miami

Primary job responsibilities include ensuring services and functions for the Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida are met, with a particular focus on due process needs.

The Office of the State Courts Administrator seeks a due process technology manager for the Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida, serving Miami-Dade County.

The chosen candidate for the role would “ensure services and functions for the circuit are met, with particular emphasis in due process needs,” and help create an “IT business plan and performance measures, defining short- and long-term due process IT needs,” the job posting states.

Specific job duties include ensuring the optimal performance of all computer infrastructure, including its hardware, software and equipment, to guarantee due process in court proceedings.

Other requirements include collaborating with the circuit’s digital court reporting and interpreter teams to ensure that the existing infrastructure is maintained in optimal condition to provide required services and helping the deputy chief technology officer direct all technology programs, services and functions for the circuit.

Additional duties include:
  • Defining, managing and leading due process-related technology projects 
  • Participating in, leading or directing IT project teams focused on the implementation of emerging and existing technologies in support of due process requirements for the circuit 
  • Participating in the creation of policies, procedures and standards related to due process and evaluating results to ensure compliance 
  • Participating in infrastructure life cycle management plans 
  • Developing policies and procedures in consultation with senior management to ensure efficient and economical due process system operations 
The hiring salary for the role is $85,600, and the recruitment deadline is April 14.
