Citizens Property Insurance Corporation of Florida (Citizens) has issued an invitation to negotiate (ITN) to assist with its property loss estimating software.

Citizens is a governmental entity in Florida, created by the Legislature in 2002, to offer affordable property insurance to those unable to secure coverage in the private insurance market. It has rapidly increased its business, growing from about 427,000 policies in 2018 to some 1.3 million in 2023.

According to ITN 24-0001, Citizens expects the vendor to deliver state-of-the-art property loss estimating software, equipped with essential functionalities including:
  • Claim loss estimation
  • Pricing database
  • Estimate life cycle management
  • Quality assurance and quality control
  • Search, reporting and analytics

The submission deadline is 2:30 p.m. Feb. 20. More information on ITN 24-0001 can be found online. The contact for the solicitation is Althea Gaines.
