State Property Insurer Seeks Document Generation Software

Citizens Property Insurance Corporation is seeking competitive sealed replies from vendors to provide document generation software services.

Citizens Property Insurance Corporation of Florida (Citizens) has issued an invitation to negotiate (ITN) for document generation software services.

Citizens is a governmental entity in Florida, created by the Legislature in 2002 to offer affordable property insurance to those unable to secure coverage in the private insurance market.

“The services should facilitate the production of various insurance policy documents and related correspondence through integration with Citizens Insurance Suite,” the ITN states.

More specifically, software services should include:
  • Generating documents from Guidewire, including new policy packets, policy renewals, billing invoices, claims communications, cancellation notices and other policy-related communications
  • Allowing users to manually create documents on an ad hoc basis using a library of editable templates
  • Enabling users to create, store and maintain templates to generate documents using data and business rules
  • Supporting generation of documents for both electronic and printed communication channels, including bar codes or other codes necessary for processing via print and mailing equipment
Vendors must help migrate all existing templates to the selected solution, validate that the solution is working correctly, train Citizens staff on software development, maintenance and administration and offer professional post-implementation support and maintenance services.

More information about ITN No. 25-0010 can be found online. Questions are due at 2 p.m. on April 18, and the submission deadline is 2:30 p.m. on May 13. Carla McBride is the point of contact for this solicitation.
