According to the RFP, “the proposed database solution must have a branded user interface (UI) that district staff can utilize to edit and generate reports and documents from a single database that integrates multiple systems to automatically pull and push data to reduce manual data entry.”
Also noted in the solicitation is the request for an optional public-facing web interface feature for staff to receive project applications and communicate with public account users, along with post-launch support and maintenance services to address basic issues.
The overall contract for the opportunity will span two years with up to three subsequent one-year renewals for support and maintenance post-launch based on a mutual agreement between the district and the chosen vendor.
As for specific project deliverables for vendors, the RFP lists the following:
- Single Database Integration: Integrate multiple systems (E-Reg, AccuFund, ArcGIS, CivicPlus, WUMAR, Hydstra) into a single interface to automate data retrieval and reduce manual data entry
- Data Storage: Store back-end data tables in a structured query language format
- User Authentication and Authorization: Implement secure user authentication and authorization mechanisms that integrate with Microsoft 365, Entra ID Single Sign-On or Windows authentication
- Data Editing Functionality: Provide users with the ability to edit project data efficiently within the web application
- Report Generation: Enable users to generate customizable reports based on the integrated data, with various filtering and sorting options
