The Florida Department of Corrections (FDC) spent about $22 million on its five largest IT-related purchases in the second quarter of 2024.

According to the Florida Accountability Contract Tracking System, FDC spent $21,803,002 on services such as information technology consultation, surveillance and detection equipment, business function software, multimedia education software and touchscreen monitors.

The five largest contracts were:
  • $9,947,063 to NTT Data Americas Inc., a firm offering IT modernization and managed services
  • $4,365,130 to Northgate Limited Inc., a company that provides products and services for maintenance, repair and operations
  • $3,793,113 to Integrated Modular Solutions, a provider of modular construction for military, education, health care, and government and commercial sectors
  • $2,050,924 to Pride Enterprises, a corporation that manages inmate work training programs that produce products and services
  • $1,646,772 to CodeLynx Inc., a provider of software engineering and electronic security services

The $21,803,002 is much greater than the $10,508,543 FDC spent on its five largest IT services contracts in the second quarter of 2023.
