The Florida Department of Corrections (FDC) spent about $22 million on its five largest IT-related purchases in the second quarter of 2024.

According to the Florida Accountability Contract Tracking System, FDC spent $21,803,001 on IT consultation services, housing finance, surveillance and detection equipment, vocational teaching aids, security lighting and other tech.

The five largest buys were:
  • $9,947,063 to NTT DATA Americas Inc., a business and technology services provider
  • $4,365,130 to Northgate Limited Inc., a maintenance, repair and operations supplier for government customers
  • $3,793,113 to Integrated Modular Solutions LLC, a design and build turnkey general contractor
  • $2,050,924 to PRIDE Enterprises, a nonprofit organization that provides vocational training and job placement services for inmates
  • $1,646,772 to CodeLynx Inc., a software engineering and electronic security services company that offers audiovisual and physical security design and installation for A/V, access control and video surveillance systems

That $21.8 million is significantly higher than the $12.8 million FDC spent on its five largest IT services contracts in the second quarter of 2023.
