Tracking the Spend: $23M for DCF’s Top 5 IT-Related Buys in Q2

Well above the Florida Department of Children and Families’ second-quarter 2023 spending, the 2024 Q2 funds were used for IT consulting services, networking software, an access flooring system installation, access software and more.

The Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) spent about $23 million on its five largest IT-related purchases in the second quarter of 2024.

According to the Florida Accountability Contract Tracking System, DCF spent $22,831,905 on information technology consultation services, networking software, narcotic antagonists, access flooring system installation, access software, network applications software, and computer accessories.

The $22,831,905 is more than double the $10,157,775 DCF spent on its five largest IT services contracts in the second quarter of 2023.
