The Florida Department of Health (DOH) saw a significant decrease in spending on IT services from 2023 to 2024.

From Jan. 1 to Dec. 31, 2024, DOH’s five largest purchases of IT services totaled $24.5 million. According to the Florida Accountability Contract Tracking System, the department spent $51 million on the five largest buys of IT services in 2023. One large contract in 2023, with SnapMedTech, made the difference.

DOH’s five largest purchases of IT services in 2024, with rounding, were:
  • $7.8 million with Cardinal Health 110 Inc.  
  • $5.4 million with Dell Marketing L.P. 
  • $5.3 million with CDR Health Care Inc. 
  • $3 million with Fisher Scientific LLC 
  • $2.8 million with Henry Schein Inc. 
During 2023, DOH’s top five buys of IT services, with rounding, were:
  • $31 million with SnapMedTech Inc. 
  • $9.2 million with ISF Inc. 
  • $4.1 million with Dell Marketing L.P. 
  • $3.3 million with CDR Health Care Inc. 
  • $3.1 million with Fisher Scientific LLC
