Tracking the Spend: $312.5M for DOH’s Top IT-Related Buys in Q3

The Florida Department of Health spent its funds on IT consultation services, miscellaneous hardware, software maintenance and more.

The Florida Department of Health (DOH) spent $312.5 million on its five largest IT-related purchases in the third quarter of 2024.

According to the Florida Accountability Contract Tracking System, DOH spent $312,500,584 on IT consultation services, miscellaneous hardware, software maintenance and business and corporate consulting services.

The five largest buys were:
  • $222,107,295 to Cardinal Health, a provider of performance and data solutions
  • $35,785,381 to W.W. Grainger Inc., an industrial supply company
  • $28,011,000 to Snapmedtech Inc., an agency that connects clinicians and facilities via an AI-powered workforce platform
  • $14,791,974 to ISF Inc., a company that offers software development, data conversion and system design
  • $11,804,934 to Insight Public Sector Inc., a corporation focusing on modernizing government IT
That $312.5 million is significantly higher than the $5.5 million DOH spent on its five largest IT services contracts in the third quarter of 2023.
