Tracking the Spend: $32M on DCF’s Top 5 IT Service Buys in 2024

The sum was less than the Department of Children and Families' corresponding spend in 2023, which totaled about $40.5 million.

The Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) saw a significant decrease in spending on IT services from 2023 to 2024.

From Jan. 1 to Dec. 31, 2024, DCF’s five largest purchases of IT services totaled $32.2 million. According to the Florida Accountability Contract Tracking System, the department spent $40.5 million on the five largest buys of IT services in 2023. One large contract in 2023, with Cardinal Health 110 Inc., made the difference.

DCF’s five largest purchases of IT services in 2024, with rounding, were:
  • $11 million with Deloitte Consulting LLP
  • $9 million with Adapt Pharma Inc.
  • $7 million with Cardinal Health 110 Inc.
  • $3 million with Dell Marketing L.P.
  • $3 million with Mannington Mills Inc.
During 2023, DCF’s top five buys of IT services, with rounding, were:
  • $27 million with Cardinal Health 110 Inc.
  • $7 million with Dell Marketing L.P.
  • $2.4 million with IBM Corporation
  • $2.3 million with NWN Corporation
  • $2 million with Commercial Design Services Inc.
