Tracking the Spend: $41M for DMS’ Top 5 IT Service Buys in 2024

The sum was more than the corresponding spend in 2023, which totaled about $23 million.

The Florida Department of Management Services (DMS) saw a significant increase in spending on IT services from 2023 to 2024.

From Jan. 1-Dec. 31, 2024, DMS’ five largest purchases of IT services totaled $41 million. According to the Florida Accountability Contract Tracking System, the department spent $23 million on its five largest buys of IT services in 2023.

DMS’ five largest purchases of IT services in 2024, with rounding, were:
  • $34 million with Insight Public Sector Inc. 
  • $4.2 million with General Building Maintenance of Florida 
  • $2.2 million with L3Harris Technologies Inc. 
  • $845,356 with Alltech Consulting Inc. 
  • $567,500 with RSM US LLP 
During 2023, its top five IT service buys were:
  • $17 million with Insight Public Sector Inc. 
  • $2.2 million with Kapoor IT Consulting 
  • $2 million with L3Harris Technologies Inc. 
  • $774,885 with Alltech Consulting Inc. 
  • $673,419 with Dell Marketing L.P.
