Tracking the Spend: $90M for DCF's Top IT-Related Buys in Q3

Well above the Florida Department of Children and Families’ third quarter 2023 spending, the 2024 Q3 funds were used for IT consultation, data services, system integration design and more.

The Florida Department of Children and Families(DCF) spent about $89.9 million on its five largest IT-related purchases in the third quarter of 2024.

According to the Florida Accountability Contract Tracking System, DCF spent $89,892,232 on information technology consultation services, data services, system integration designs and medical software.

That $89.9 million is significantly higher than the $10.3 million DCF spent on its five largest IT services contracts in the second quarter of 2023.
