Tracking the Spend: $90M for DCF's Top IT-Related Buys in Q3

The Florida Department of Children and Families(DCF) spent about $89.9 million on its five largest IT-related purchases in the third quarter of 2024.

According to the Florida Accountability Contract Tracking System, DCF spent $89,892,232 on information technology consultation services, data services, system integration designs and medical software.

The five largest buys were:

• $29,964,000 to Talx Corporation (now known as Equifax Workforce Solutions), a company focusing on employment verification
• $26,458,467 to Deloitte Consulting LLP, a company that provides audit and assurance, consulting tax and related services
• $15,296,088 to Cardinal Health 110 Inc., a health-care solution and supply company
• $11,101,960 to Exela Enterprise Solutions Inc., a cloud-based solutions and data management services provider
• $7,071,717 to Insight Public Sector Inc. an IT solution provider assisting in modernizations for the public sector

That $89.9 million is significantly higher than the $10.3 million DCF spent on its five largest IT services contracts in the second quarter of 2023.
