Tracking the Spend: DCF Spent $470M+ in FY 2023-24 on IT

In 2023 and 2024, the agency that spent the most on tech-related projects was the Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF), at more than $470 million.

According to the Florida Accountability Contract Tracking System, DCF spent $66.7 million in 2023 and $407.5 million in 2024 on IT.

In 2024 the top three vendors were:

• $54.1 million to Deloitte Consulting LLP
• $40.8 million to Hopper Consulting and Staffing
• $30.3 million to Talx Corporation (now known as Equifax Workforce Solutions)

In 2023 the top three vendors were:

• $63.4 million to Carahsoft Technology Corporation
• $31.3 million to SnapMedTech Inc.
• $24,509,941 to Dell Marketing LP

The three largest commodities were:

• $70 million for IT consultation services
• $30.3 million for data services
• $14.8 million for networking software
