Tracking the Spend: DCF Spent $470M+ in FY 2023-24 on IT

The Department of Children and Families’ top three IT commodities by spend were consultation services, data services and networking software.

In 2023 and 2024, the agency that spent the most on tech-related projects was the Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF), at more than $470 million.

According to the Florida Accountability Contract Tracking System, DCF spent $66.7 million in 2023 and $407.5 million in 2024 on IT.

  • $14.8 million for networking software
