Here, rounded up, are the agency’s five largest purchases during Q3, according to data from the Florida Accountability Contract Tracking System:
- $199 million to Cardinal Health 110 Inc., a provider of performance and data solutions for health-care facilities
- $30 million to SnapMedTech Inc., the parent company of SnapCare, which offers real-time health-care staffing solutions for travel nurses
- $19 million to ISF Inc., which provides state government agencies with custom software development and support, data conversion, system design and analysis and other business process outsourcing services
- $9 million to Florida State University, one of the state’s public research universities that has a total enrollment of nearly 42,000, and which runs the Northwest Regional Data Center
- $9 million to Abbott Laboratories Inc., which creates products related to diagnostics, medical devices, nutrition and branded generic pharmaceuticals
Regarding specific purchases, the department spent about $8 million on business and corporate management consultation services, $6 million on data processing and preparation services, $6 million on IT consultation services and $2 million on project management services.
