The University of Central Florida (UCF) is looking to work with a vendor to implement a financial aid leveraging solution that can evaluate, create and implement financial aid scenarios at any point during its awarding process.

According to an invitation to negotiate (ITN) from the university, “Proposers should approach this project focusing on how they can help integrate financial aid with enrollment projections for the fall 2025 entering class.”

Regarding specific deliverables, the ITN lists the following:
  • The solution should provide near-real-time aid adjustment calculations, including student-level upward and downward adjustments in aid
  • The vendor would provide a review of financial aid data to help the university build an awarding model that prioritizes institutional goals for the number of students enrolled
  • The vendor would analyze trends between financial aid and student behavior using a minimum of two to three years’ worth of historical enrollment and financial aid data and present findings through a consultative, in-person session
  • The vendor would benchmark UCF’s historical performance against relevant peers or other data sets
  • The vendor would develop econometric models to identify under- and over-awarded students and to understand the factors that influence student enrollment

More detailed information about ITN 2023-10TCSA, including all submission requirements and requests, can be found online. The deadline for responses is 3 p.m. on April 30.
