Carahsoft Ranks Highest in Statewide Consulting Contract Spending

Here are the top five suppliers with the highest expenditures for Fiscal Year 2023-24 on the statewide contract for management consulting services, along with their spending trends over the last four years.

Earlier this week we covered the Department of Management Services (DMS) update on expenditures for the Management Consulting Services State Term Contract for 2020–2024, including details by fiscal year, state agencies and supplier companies focusing on state agencies.

The DMS notice outlines spending on the contract, covering a range of services such as business and corporate management consultations, project management, IT consultations and more. It also includes a detailed breakdown of contracts for fiscal years 2020-24 for all suppliers.

For FY 2023-24, the top five suppliers with the highest expenditures on management consulting services were:
  • Carahsoft Technology Corp.: $56,416,032
  • KPMG LLP: $18,754,120
  • ISF Inc.: $17,160,388
  • AtkinsRealis USA Inc.: $9,680,133
  • The North Highland Company LLC: $6,488,733

Of note: Carahsoft did not have any activity on this contract in the previous three years.
