FLVS Seeks AI Consulting and Development Services

Prospective vendors must be able to provide Florida Virtual School with AI development services which isolate data from other customers and avoid commingling solutions in large language models shared with any other entity.

Florida Virtual School (FLVS) has issued a request for proposals (RFP) for artificial intelligence consulting and development services.

“Overall, AI consulting and development solution providers must possess a combination of technical skills, domain knowledge and problem-solving abilities to effectively tackle the challenges of AI development and deliver impactful solutions,” the RFP states.

The solicitation also states that vendors “must be able to provide FLVS with AI development services that isolates our data from any other customers’ data.”

Other requirements include:
  • Solutions must not be commingled in large language models with any other entity
  • Any developed projects must show evidence that security is incorporated in its development cycle
  • All developed solutions must allow for auditing and monitoring of the solution for use

With that understanding, FLVS plans to issue requests for quotes to contractors awarded under the RFP and issue statement of work documents to selected vendors so they can detail the specific services or projects they are providing.

More information about RFP01-2404134B01-AIDVLP can be found online, and the deadline to submit responses is 2 p.m. on July 18.

Editor's note: There is a discrepancy in RFP numbers between the bid posting and the actual RFP; we have used the number from the RFP. The bid posting uses RFP01-2404135B01-AIDVLP.
