Orange County Issues RFP for Data Acquisition Panel Replacement

The county is seeking solicitations for its SCADA Package V including all labor, equipment and materials required for construction.

Orange County is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to submit bids for its supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) panel replacement.

According to RFP No. Y25-719, the county is asking for vendors to assist with project V and “the estimated cost for this project is $5,084,000.”

The work involves furnishing all labor, equipment and materials for constructing the facilities as outlined, including:
  • Upgrading/replacing existing pump control panels and backup panels at 16 locations
  • Installing new wiring and conduit for all equipment
  • Expanding the grounding system for new equipment
  • Providing fiber-optic termination cabinets at four stations, in coordination with AT&T
Interested vendors can apply through the OpenGov e-Procurement Platform.

Questions are due at 5 p.m. Nov. 11. The proposals are due at 4 p.m. Dec. 3.
