The Florida Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD) is seeking a data analytics supervisor to assist the agency’s bureau chief of quality and program effectiveness. The role will analyze agency programs and use statistical techniques and related software to obtain, summarize and analyze data related to costs, clients, utilization and other aspects of APD programs.
Specific job responsibilities include:
- Providing supervision, guidance and oversight for all direct reports within the data analysis unit
- Providing technical consultation and assistance to agency management and staff concerning the collection, analysis and reporting of client data from agency database systems (ABC/iBudget/iConnect) and external related resources such as the Florida Medicaid Management Information System (FMMIS)
- Overseeing high-level analytical work products containing fiscal, operational and client-related data for agency executive management and project managers, as assigned by the bureau chief
- Providing technical consultation and assistance for the design and maintenance of information systems (iConnect) and reporting developed by the agency and vendors
- Overseeing and reviewing waiver services reports and demographic reports submitted to the governor’s office and Legislature on a routine or ad hoc basis
