Maternal Health Workshop

February 06, 2024 | 7:30 AM2:30 PM

Let's come together to work towards improvement

Maternal mortality is higher in the United States than any other developed nation by far. Narrowing our gaze to Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana the story is even bleaker with these states being among the bottom 10. Many organizations are working hard to reverse the worsening trend but these efforts are not making a difference on a broader scale. Mothers continue to die due to higher rates of C-sections and limited access to pre- and post-natal care. Let's do what we can to come together to work towards improvement.

Please join us for an in-depth discussion regarding maternal health and mortality. We will bring together a wide variety of practitioners, community service professionals, new mothers, payers, and solution providers to better understand the many facets of current challenges, to talk about what IS currently working and how might we scale that positive deviation for broader impact.
