We like to work by the 24–48-hour rule meaning when a job hits our inbox, our standard is to have at least one qualified candidate submitted to the manager within the first 24-48 hours of receiving the requirement. Due to the complexity of higher-level positions and unique skill sets required, it could take up to 3-4 days to find the right qualified resource. Because we have worked within the transportation space with TxDOT, we have managed to qualify many candidates and keep them active in our database. When a position does come out, we can call them immediately which speeds up the submittal process helping us become more efficient and allowing the position to be filled within a few days not a few weeks.

Having a proven track record with TxDOT and other public sector clients where we took the time to understand the work environments (technologies, infrastructure, and culture) makes LDS such a successful team and excellent strategic partner. When a position comes out, we have a solid understanding of what the need is and can respond quickly. Glenn Jackson, our Director of Client Success, has been able to develop strong lasting relationships from the executive level to the managerial level at most of the State of Texas agencies, ERCOT, TxDOT, Germania Insurance, and the City of Austin to name a few. This kind of relationship has allowed him to go onsite and meet with managers when needed to discuss their current and upcoming project needs. This allows the recruiting teams to get a head start qualifying the right candidates. Once approvals are secured by the hiring managers, we have candidates queued up and ready to be submitted.

LDS works hard with Management and the Procurement team when a resource need arises. Having these open lines of communication allows LDS to hone in on exactly what the manager/team is seeking in a technical resource so that no time is wasted when our recruiting team gets to work.
