Alamo Colleges Gears Up to Hire Executives

The higher education district is looking for a firm to conduct executive-level hiring, including for IT leadership.

Alamo Colleges District, which has more than 78,000 enrolled students, is readying itself to hire for IT executive leadership.

The district has published a request for a competitive sealed proposal (CSP) for executive recruitment services. The awarded vendor or vendors will complete search and hiring processes from start to finish for executive positions including those in charge of IT, finance or online college. Among roles that fall under executive search are vice chancellor, director, dean or president.

Currently, the college system has a vice chancellor for planning, performance and information systems and a vacancy for the vice chancellor for finance and administration.

There are five colleges in the district based in the San Antonio area. Responses to CSP2024-0047 are due at 2 p.m. Nov. 2.
