‘Seun Olatunde-Brown has joined the Texas Workforce Commission as a senior information technology auditor.
His past industry experience includes being an IT auditor for DISH Network and an information technology auditor for G4S, a British multinational private security company headquartered in London.
During his time with DISH Network, Olatunde-Brown held various responsibilities, according to his LinkedIn profile, including:
- Executing tests of IT general controls and application controls to assist management with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance.
- Designing and executing the company’s IT SOX audit, focusing on testing IT General controls, automated controls, segregation of duties and key reports.
- Performing IT audits and determining whether controls are adequately designed to mitigate business/IT risk.
- Performing controls testing, documenting results and providing detailed updates to the internal audit-SOX manager.
- Coordinating work assignments with process/control owners and external auditors.
He holds an accounting degree from the University of Lagos, a cybersecurity and information assurance degree from Western Governors University and a CPA license from Houston Community College.
