
He spent the last two years as a business development representative with Veracode.
“I have built long lasting relationships with those in SLED roles at a national level to where I can bring value to KWR as we focus to expand our services at a national level,” Auer told Industry Insider —Texas via email. “As the KWR team has extensive experience and relationships, I hope that I can bring a new perspective to the team that will help the business grow in the years to come.”
He and the firm’s founder and CEO, Karen Robinson, announced the move on LinkedIn last week.
“As our new business development and account management specialist, Blake will play a crucial role in our company’s growth and client satisfaction initiatives. His enthusiasm and experience in identifying business problems and partnering with clients are exactly what we need to expand our services and strengthen our industry relationships” Robinson wrote in a post.
“After gaining valuable experience at Veracode, I’m excited to take on this new challenge. For the past two years, Veracode provided me with great opportunities to learn and grow in my career,” Auer posted. “At KWR, I’ll be focusing on growing the organization, developing new market strategies, and helping our clients address complex business challenges in the public-sector technology space.”
Auer is based in Houston and has a business degree from Texas Tech University.
