Cloudflare provides Internet security to protect websites from DDoS attacks and malicious bots, among other threats. The company says it enables faster web traffic and helps make Internet sites perform better. Cloudflare works across government, industry and nonprofit sectors.
Zimmerman, who announced his move in April, was previously a regional sales manager at Zscaler.
His career includes 10 years in technology, including with Dell Technologies, Gigamon and IronNet. Zimmerman earned a finance degree from Loyola University Chicago.
