As it continues to stand itself up, the new Texas Cyber Command (TXCC) is hiring a director for one of its main sub-organizations: the Cybersecurity Threat Intelligence Center (CTIC).
The CTIC, according to Cyber Command's website, "gathers, analyzes and disseminates cyber threat intelligence to state, local and federal partners." TXCC posted about the opening on LinkedIn Monday.
The job posting describes the position as overseeing day-to-day operations of the center's analysts to ensure the quality of strategic, operational and tactical intelligence reports. As a leader, the director will also be responsible for culture, professional growth, standards, quality control and operational excellence.
The monthly salary is $14,375-$15,208, and the application window closes Aug. 25.
TXCC is also hiring a director for its Digital Forensics Laboratory, which sits under the Unified Cyber Task Force. That role, according to the job posting, is responsible for "TXCC digital forensic operations, evidence preservation, custody, forensic analysis, forensic quality, scope of harm support, incident forensics and law enforcement handoff support."
The monthly salary is $12,250-$13,083, and the application window also closes Aug. 25.
TXCC just closed the job posting for another director position for one of its three main sub-organizations, the Information Sharing and Analysis Organization.
