The Texas Department of Motor Vehicles (TxDMV) is seeking information to inform the purchase of facilities management software.

TxDMV would like a software-as-a-service (SaaS) solution that will manage facilities requests, repairs, upgrades, purchases, equipment and assets. The software will also be able to track workflows and collocate work orders into various categories.

The software will manage facilities across the state and must be able to migrate current data to a new platform.

Detailed instructions and project requirements are included in Request for Information No. 608-23-11560, posted last week. Responses are due at 4:30 p.m. May 22.*

The scope of work includes:
  • A test site for application data and report development
  • Employee training
  • An intuitive, automated dashboard
  • Administrative access and ability to create users with differing access needs

The dashboard should include these abilities:
  • Create and log request tickets for facilities services
  • Assign tickets and work orders
  • Log and track related financial information and time on task for employees
  • Route and track all work orders
  • View, review, update and close work orders

The system must meet all security standards including TX-RAMP requirements for cloud computing.
